Zak McKracken: Between Time and Space is an unofficial sequel to the adventure game Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (1988). The story again revolves around Zak trying to prevent the Caponians to enslave mankind. It starts with Zak waking up in his apartment without any recollection of what has happened before. A race against time begins to regain his lost memories... The game features over fifty hand-drawn locations, as well as a musical score. The dialogues are fully dubbed; cutscenes are utilized to advance the story. The gameplay is "old-school", employing a verb-based interface similar to the one used in the predecessor. Bundled with the download is a PDF-Manual.

The airport in Waikiki. Generally, the airports look a little better than in "Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders", but still mostly boring.

Most cutscenes are unfortunately in 3D. This one looks rather pleasant anyway, I like views of shimmering water.

That's the advantage of fan games: Sierra or Lucas Arts rather limited themselves to hinting to their own games, fan games allude to everything!
