Transference is a game in which the player must escape the corrupted mind of a scientist named Raymond Hayes. The player explores an apartment complex and discovers the stories of Raymond, his wife Katheryn and their son Benjamin by looking at the world through different perspectives. The player can find and look at narrative objects which give more information on the characters' backstory. The game can be played in VR or non-VR. The gameplay relies mostly on exploration and puzzles. Transference is a collaboration between Ubisoft and Elijah Wood's production company, SpectreVision.
