Anacapri: The Dream

Anacapri: The Dream is an adventure game set on the island of Capri, mostly in the upper regions of Capri called Anacapri. You play the role of Dr. Nico N, an expert of the ancient civilizations. You are invited to Anacapri to accomplish a very difficult task: find the extremely powerful, but malicious Obsidian Disk. But what is this Obsidian Disk? Why is it so dangerous? Quickly you will find out that what you think as reality is in fact an illusion - the truth is far beyond what you have imagined…

This game is a first-person adventure using point-and-click game mechanics. The 8,000 scenes and are all real photographs taken on the Isle of Capri and the people met are presented in animated still pictures. The puzzles vary from interpreting given clues to find the next place to visit and logic puzzles like a card game or sliding puzzles. But the game also has some features to make it easier to play: all interactive items can be highlighted, the most difficult puzzles can be skipped and a map allows to quickly jump to another location. Additionally there is a sightseeing mode in which Capri can be explored without plot or puzzles.
